  • The D-VELoP (Data visualization experience lab of Purdue) visualization room has a 3x3 panel display (almost 6’ x 10’ of hi-res screen) in a 11-person classroom/presentation/exhibit room and is part of the that is part of the D-VELoP visualization studio. The room is available for bookings 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. However, if you would like to use it in the evening or on the weekends, please contact Michael Fosmire or Nicole Kong for additional information.

  • Libraries faculty will work with you on a number of research and scholarly communication topics, including: research questions, literature review sources, and poster design, and can connect you with others for support on a variety of topics such as methods exploration, data storage, and data ethics., etc.
    Due to COVID-19, students will no longer be able to have an in-person research consultation with a librarian. But, there are librarians available to help virtually with your research projects. Veterinary Medicine Library

  • The Veterinary Medicine Library Study Room 1133G is a designated space for College of Veterinary Medicine students to use for phone/video calls that require privacy (job interviews, tele-health appointments, etc.) The door to this room may be closed for the duration of the session. This room may be used by one individual at a time for a one-hour period during Library hours, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

    Requests to reserve the room for studying will not be approved.
    Students using 1133G without a reservation must relinquish the room quickly and quietly when another student has the room reserved.
    Students must sanitize the table and chair and door handles upon entering and before exiting the room.

Digital Humanities Studio

  • The Digital Humanities Studio is a mixed-use space dedicated to digital scholarship. The Studio has seating space for 9-12 people for project meetings or workshops. The Studio is also equipped with key technology for projects, including four computers with software such as R, Python, Gephi, ArcGIS, Nvivo, and Abbyy Fine Reader; 3D printing and scanning; a manuscript and book scanner; data visualization monitors; and podcasting station. The room is available for booking related to digital scholarship from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. If you want to use the technology or consult on a digital humanities project, contact Matthew Hannah. If you want to consult on a computational social sciences project, contact Trevor Burrows.
