Risograph Printing with guest artist Nick Satinover

In this 3 hour workshop participants will learn the basics of multi-color Risograph printing by means of assembling their own images with collage.  Risograph printing is a high-speed duplication process that translates value (dark to light) into gradations of lovely spot colors which can then be layered and overlapped creating a myriad of color mixtures. Collage will allow participants to quickly generate images featuring a variety of possibilities for the Risograph machine to translate.   Participants will each create their own layered print as well as participate in a collaborative group print.

No prior art experience is required.  Participants are welcome to bring any personal materials they wish to utilize for their own prints as well as materials they enjoy working with such as pens, markers, flat items (like fabric) or photographs.
