Photography 101: Studio Lighting In-Person
Lighting is a critical component for making compelling photographs. This workshop is a cursory introduction to working with studio lighting equipment available for check out at the Knowledge Lab. From setup, to placement, and simple manipulation, we will discuss various ways to light subjects for portfolio documentation and portraiture. This workshop does not cover camera operations; we are focusing on how to light subjects, which could be with a phone or professional camera. A generally understanding of how cameras operate will be helpful, but not necessary for this workshop.
