Clothing Mending Workshop In-Person
Do you have clothes or other textile items that need repair and you're not sure how to fix them? Bring your items to this mending workshop and we'll problem-solve what technique would work best to fix the problem and make it so your clothes are wearable again! Whether it's patches, darning, or simply sewing a hole closed, we'll figure out what you can do to mend your items. This workshop will mainly focus on hand-based techniques, if your repair is better done on a sewing machine, we'll discuss methods but it may need to be completed at another time. Other than bringing items that need fixing, all other materials will be provided. Prior experience with sewing or needlework is helpful but not required.
