Visible Mending: Japanese Sashiko In-Person
Learn about the history of the traditional Japanese embroidery tehnique of Sashiko and how it has been used as a practical method of mending and stengthing clothing. Attendees will get a hands-on demostration on sashiko stitching techniques and practice stitching their own design. All materials are provided, prior sewing/embroidery experience is helpful but not required.
