Sewing 101: How to Read a Pattern In-Person

Sewing patterns are the templates used to cut out the different pieces needed to construct a garment or other item. While patterns are an essential part of the sewing process, they can be daunting with different symbols and terminology you need to know so you can read the pattern correctly. In this workshop, participants will learn about the different aspects of a pattern, learn the important terms, and learn tips on the best practices when using a pattern. This is not an active sewing workshop, but participants are welcome to bring a pattern of their own to ask questions.
